Flordia sounds more interesting. Imagine a whole theme-park as a base or house.
And Cryptic.

South Florida, with transportation to the Orlando/Winter Park area. It would be really cool to see Miami in a fallout state.

Chicago would be cool. War torn skyscrapers filled with things to raid, yet also filled with mutated people.

Chicago would be loving sick, now that I think about it.

It would be cool to have a huge, wastelandish city, like Fallout 3, but without the surrounding plains.

I hope they actually make the game with the scavenging aspect. In Fallout 1 everything was rare and hard to find. In fallout 3 you'll find a stuffload of items in seconds.

Not only that they need to remove the option of stealing armor off dead people. It would make the game much more harder and realistic.

Oh and if containers had grid storing instead of infinite storing the game would be even better.

Florida would be amazing, I would laugh if they picked tn and used dollywood.

I agree
As a compensation for all the crapload of items you get in  Fallout 3 your weapons tend to break in unrealistic time and you have to use a handicapped repair system inorder to fix them.

Fallout 1 & 2 (and Fallout tactics) weapons were expensive and rare but you didn't have to replace them every 10 minutes of fighting

also more variety in laser weapons aside from semi automatic pistol, semi automatic rifle, fully automatic minigun

Even more chems than New Vegas
and flying cars and skyscrapers made out of chrome that you can look out of and see those yankee plebs to the north still festering in their own irradiated filth!

and that is exactly what i mean
no offense to fallout 3, its a good game, but bethesda didnt noticed the gaping plot holes they created
To be fair, they apparently scored a direct hit on the White House, but chrissakes a nuclear bomb would leave a much bigger hole than that, and the blast force would probably flatten most of the surrounding buildings.

The united states was invading china before the bombs fell. Perhaps a game set in post-nuclear china would be interesting.

Post nuclear china is a giant hole in the ground

For some reason I hate the idea of the game being in England, I don't know why...
