what kind of aircraft are there, and what happens when you get one. it would be fun to get a fighter jet and just fly around and forget with people.

No fighter jets. Unless it came with a parachute to eject, or it was loaded with FAB-250s, it would be kind of useless. But there are helos and I think they come preloaded with ammo.

helis are overrated
people can see you for miles, it takes a ton of supplies to repair, it takes a ton of fuel, and it cant hold too many items.

Finally get my computer working again to play this.

First life

Trying to meet up with friend
Heli out of nowhere
Get sniped; broken bones.
6 guys in ghillie suits surround me with rifles.
"Get in"
Crawl towards heli.
"You can do it!"
Make it on board and they take me on a flight that lasts a life time
"What a nice view before I die" I say
Land in a clearing in the middle of nowhere
They patch me up
"Good luck" "Check your backpack"
They fly off and I find myself with a handgun and 3 full magazines

stuff just got real interesting real fast.

Nah it took me like 3 minutes just to figure out how to get the gun equipped. But I got to kill several zombies and pick up a bunch of vehicle parts before bleeding out/starving on top of two shotguns in a deer tower. But man what a first day it was.

Yeah I rode mt bike near the coastal airstrip and saw it a few hours ago, I was thinking it might only be a client thing but I guess not.

I'm waiting for a patch to fix it. It's pretty god damn annoying and really breaks the game for me.

Guys, if you go into your arma 2 folder in your documents folder, then open up a file (with notepad or something similar) that should be called something like Username.ArmA2OAProfile, Scroll down to the bottom, there should be a line that looks something like " sceneComplexity=300000; ", Change the 300000 to 100000.
I'm not entirely sure if this completely fixes it, but I logged off the game while having artifacting issues, did that, logged back on and it was gone, so yeah.
If this is too confusing or something I'll try to explain it better :P

Also me and a bunch of friends have 5 vehicles now. 2 bikes, a V3S, Ural, and some hippie van thing.

How i fix artifacing = Video Memory Settings screw up the entire game. So change em everytime Artifacing appears.

I did this and saw no results :I, but it works for some people. Worth a try I guess.

I'd play with you. But the Artifacting is kinda making this game unenjoyable.

I need to get a new ghillie suit. I died from a glitch and almost lost all my gear, was great. My friend died from our truck exploding(I hit a fence at 20 KMH and apparently thats a bad idea when the engine is in orange.) He tried to leave before dying so his body disappeared and he lost a FN FAL ANPV S4 which kinda sucks. But oh well.

when driving NEVER hit anything, if you hit something expect to blow up/eject.
