I recently went to Kaua'i and took a lot of photos, including a few with my GoPro.

This one is of Waimea Canyon.

Does anyone know of a very wide angle lens that also has the ability to have shallow depth of field?

Notice how it is a very wide shot but still has really nice out of focus background? How is this achieved?

those really aren't that wide. i shoot regularly with a 12-24mm (on a cropped sensor), it's much much wider than those. just look for a decently wide lens with a big aperture.

loving amazing movie by the way. one of my favorites.
