Image dump!

Some iced coffee I had earlier today.

My dad's modded Losi R/C 1/18 Desert Truck.

My 40+ year old Benjamin air rifle.

Pancakes. :)

The first one is my favorite.

So I got a decent point-and-shoot (Lumix DMC-ZS30) as a grad present. Here's me trying to get used to it (click for full res); I don't have much to shoot around here so expect lots of wildlife.

Miniature faking.

Baa!

Rain, night, and slow-sync flash.

A robin.

I discover why digital zoom is a bad thing.

Close-up.

ARCHIMEDES??

An attempt at high-speed video.

Anything i could've done better in any of those?

Baa!

d'awww.

All three of the bird ones are either fuzzy/unclear or uninteresting.

Yeah, I think I might have accidentally used digital zoom on that dove too. The robin's more significant to me because it's the first time I managed to actually get close enough to one for a picture. I can't find anything to shoot that doesn't decide it wants to be somewhere else every few seconds :(

Two I forgot to upload

some photos i took at a creek near where i live with a canon powershot a1400
they take pictures in jpeg :(

click for fullsize (widescreen)

i have more but my internet's been acting up so half of my pictures won't upload

that doesn't look real

HDR usually doesn't. I rarely like it.

I don't like the effect it has on the background, but it looks good on the car, real looking or not.

I'm not sure whether I'm getting a D610 or D800

Some photos I took today.

just bought a D5100 Lens Kit for $350.
Brand new too.

I know Nikon is phasing it out for the 5200, but it still takes pretty nice pictures.
(Plus it was the camera I was using at school, so familiarity :P)

I decided to hold on to my D7000 and grab a D800 after my deployment.

I just ordered a Sigma 17-50 f/2.8
