I suck at shading

You should make the sword tilt towards the bottom left since the position of the body makes it seem as the it's facing the front, and not towards the left.

As for shading, you may need at least 3-4 colors

well i'm assuming you forgot to trans the space between that purple effect!
i like it but the legs are a bit iffy, maybe it's just that the boots are as big as his legs
