In the first brackets, put [img width=SIZE].

Obviously "SIZE" is where you put the value.

The red looks more like a blush rather than face paint though, I used the original NES pallet so yeah, I don't know how to improve on that...

I think the odd shading at the top is off putting to be honest, I think they are the indentations on the gbc but it just looks odd
