had to skip one so the white backgrounds could show

Not sure why, but these and Ike's post remind of RPG Maker 2003 weapons.

I made a Guy (Daft Punk) hat for Duck Game. I'm new at this so please criticize.

edit: I also made a light up state for when you quack. I don't feel like this is ideal, so someone tell me what is wrong.

I use paint.net

there's also aseprite - a lot of the really good artists use it

I will check that out too.

paint's actually surprisingly solid for pixel art given how bad it is in general; only downside is it doesn't support transparent images.
its definitely less processor/graphics intensive than paint.net and easier to open up for quick drafting, for those without high-end computers

I use graphics gale. The interface is kind of weird but it's specifically for spriting so it has some useful features

Made a shield in paint, i tried in others but they where a bit to hard
is it good for a first?
Note: i stretched it out for some reason?

didn't zay say he used gamemaker for pixel art at some point?
