Jelly and Master spot Sir at the same time. Sir is attempting to stab the thing in between the eyes, but his sword is much too short and only succeeds in poking it in the face. The dog holds its grasp on Sirs leg, and Sir can feel more bone give underneath its jaws. He screams again. Seconds later, Sir hears a the cracking sound of a rifle shot and the dog yelps as a bullet enters into its side. It releases its grip on Sirs leg and whips around to see who shot, just in time to receive Masters bat to the face. The dog is knocked to the ground, its skull cracked. It gets back up shakily and Master swings his bat again, this time hitting one of its legs and breaking it, the bone giving easily under the piece of wood. Master swings again, hitting its head, making a muffled thunking sound. The beast falls over with the side of its head caved in and its leg lopsided. It appears to be dead.
That doesn't change the fact that I just jumped into the thick of things, wielding my blade in my left hand, hacking and slashing away.
You get back up and make your way towards the center of the fight. The dogs still seem to be plentiful, and you still have a fair amount of allies. As you make your way towards the center, something knocks into form behind, throwing you to the ground. You shout in pain as you land on your hurt arm and roll over to see a dog right infront of you. It jumps onto your chest, its paw pressing into you, the claws creating deep cuts and the paw crushing you.
