I'm intrigued by some stuff I encountered.
I was up against a Mordekaiser mid. I pummeled him with everything I had and explosive shot was perfect for depleting his shield.
I quickly was up in kills but down in CS.
I didn't quite snowball in the way that I would like to have; the enemy team was too bruisy for me to do that. Their garen got much more fed than any of us. However, they did have their Riven DC lategame. At this point I have somewhere around 12 kills and mordekaiser has 2. I am, however, able to fight more effectively than him, albeit not by much. I finished with 15 kills, not having been able to do much but assist and tank (as I took rylai's and warmog due to all the bruising going on.) Mordekaiser still had only 2 kills at the end, but he also had exactly 400 CS when they lost.
His strategy was legitimate, and had they not gotten a DC, they probably would have been much harder to defeat. He confided that his original plan was to be worth nothing when killed and just push lanes.
