I am interested in learning how to play this. I heard the community is complete stuff though, worst than ours. Is it worth coming in as a newbie to play?

I'm not sure why people wont play a game because of the community.

The community is bad in any game that has communication and interaction.

The difference in LoL is the ELO. Yes, there is a normal game ELO, you just can't see it. If you have low ELO, you're likely to get stuck with a bunch of angry people who blame everyone else for their lack of skill, and a couple of people who happen to get stuck with these angry people and dragged down with them. If you're about average ELO, you find more calm, laid back people. There will probably be at least one 'rager' each game, or 2. When you get to higher than average ELO, no fun allowed. Super serious everything. Everyone seems to know 'everything' but with so many conflicts of knowledge. Once you pass that, you're playing with pros, against pros, and probably 1 or 2 people who got carried their entire LoL carrier. Don't like the sound of any of that? Get a premade team.

Wow. I've just been playing Co-op matches with Garren and went 1-3 last round. Lol I suck, but I'm willing to get better. The guys I got put with told me to go top while everyone else went mid and bottom, I held off the two other champions pretty well for a time being. Fun game though.

Yeah, that's actually a proper way to set up lanes.

Garen would be a champion to go up top by himself, or with a partner if your team is lacking a jungler. It's seemingly more difficult early game when you're solo top against bots because of their extreme aggression. Just play defensively and you'll begin to out-level them. Try your best to get the last hit on minions, especially when your lane is pushed to your turret.

Yeah, it's worth it if you can learn fast and take a few verbal beatings.

well that was amazing in Dreamhack. CLG.eu came back so hard after 29k gold advantage and beat M5. 60 minute games are when tristana becomes as hypercarry as the sun

Some people overexaggerate the difficulty of soloing Baron, but as Warwick (and maybe a small handful of other heroes), it isn't that bad.

But as WW it's kinda stupid. MAYBE a bloodthirster but he's a bruiser.
