I mean sure they're visible now, but honestly it doesn't matter much against a Teemo. You can clear your side of the bush with it, and Teemo's so squishy that if you see him go to try to destroy it, you can bully him off of it with no problem.

Not really.
Pink wards take 5 basic attacks to kill. Early on, you can easily bait a Teemo to his death by simply placing a vision ward and coordinating a gank. The same goes for any champion.

If you think they're crap, don't use them and have fun dying to Teemo in lane.
