you can do 3 of either, and yeah just queue up with a friend and win.

Start with jungle tank item, get some minor AD items if you want.
Get boots before finishing jungle tank item.
Acquire lifesteal and build it into a ravenous hydra. It might take a while, but it's worth it.
After this, it depends. Mostly you'll want to go for almost full tank after this, because you'll still be the initiator. It's just that in addition to stunning people in the aoe and setting your team up, you're also dealing major AoE AD scaling damage and then quite a bit to your direct target, preferably their adc or apc.
