the only reason i'd report someone was if they were breaking some big rules, like posting crazy stuff like gore or threatening to hack the forums. i usually just warn people so they can avoid getting banned for smaller stuff like admitting to trolling, dismissive post, ect. even for nudity, i know that stuff can be accidental and i really think that it's better to give a person a chance to fix their mistake before you just all out tattle.

no, taboo was banned because he was messaging anime research to people. this was a malicious attack on the forum which was then followed by a DDoS. i can't remember the guys name but i do remember he made a lot of references to ratting and he recently got back onto the forum with an allegedly stolen credit card.
