I also hate the assumption that an unprepared child will have a bad life.
There are so many opportunities in this world. Who knows. Maybe that person would have become the smartest person to ever live. Maybe they were going to discover the cure for cancer. I hate the idea that a human child, because it is a nuisance should be killed, just because of the circumstances.

we're not talking about a minor inconvenience here. a teenage couple who decides to keep an unplanned baby are changing the course of their
whole lives. and that "they could cure cancer" bullstuff is exactly that, bullstuff. that same logic can be used to defend any side. maybe a teenage girl would cure cancer if she didn't keep her unplanned baby but she decided to and didn't go down that path (see, bullstuff)
i also hate the assumption that it's a minor thing to have an abortion. i know a couple that had one, and it was by no means a minor thing, it affected them pretty severely on an emotional level.
