a few nfs games have actually pulled off a plot, but it's not as good as something like an rpg could do.

racing games are really only for those who like to play racing games.
Saying its repetitive is the same as saying pretty much any multiplayer fps is repetitive.

It kind of has to be repetitive to be what it is.
