Right now the server runs the duplicator and fill can. I plan on adding the stunt plane and some administrative mods. Other than that, I like to keep the server pretty light on mods. I might consider adding in the window and fence brick packs. The mods will vary from week to week and they'll generally fit in for the theme. For example, if we decide to have some kind of VCE event contest or something then we might add it for the duration of the contest. I actually don't use VCE so I wouldn't have it enabled normally. Sometimes there will be no addons.
But yeah, I don't like having a lot of mods on my server, so I'll make sure to keep the list pretty slim. Maybe five or so add-ons on a normal week.
when you say RTB staff, thats not including beta testers right? i imagined it wouldn't due to that being a lot of people but i wasn't sure :s

Sucks that I'm stuck in Nevada with a laptop too slow for Blockland without overheatting.

Haha, well, I used to be a huge supporter of using only the standard bricks, but I fell in love with the window and fence brick packs so we'll see. They are pretty high quality packs.
I'm glad you like the idea of the server though.
