This map is starting to remind me of Celestia.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Definitely a good thing :D

'Course it is, Celestia has awesome Planet Textures.

Well...maybe thats because I used textures from there?

BTW, thanks for all the nice comments on the video. Retail BL is kinda difficult to film with since there are no movers or anything.

That movie was 100% epic.

"This is one step for man...

And one giant leap for mankind."

I loved that part too....

Nice Job RW.....(but who was filming/acting besides you?)

edit:This map is one (kinda) small step for mapper, one big step for blockland maps...

Also, I think this map should be released 2 times, once for a public beta that lasts for a week or 2 were players can test out the map, and make suggestions for small improvements (or other mappers figuring out a way to do something that you couldn't get to work, like clouds), and once that is done, release it for a final version....

This would make it so we don't end up needing an update anytime soon...

The guy acting for me was my brother.

Maybe a beta version, not sure.

You DID?

Like I said, launch sequence is impressive. I like the quakey camera.

I got that texture for the asteroids from Celestia as well :D

here's an idea. make the ground look all cratery and actully put in some moutains so it like, "the moon of bockland" map.

You should make it so in space you turn on ski physics so you spin and move uncontrollably and there should be no gravity. :D

There is no gravity in space. (in the map I mean)

By no gravity, is that what you mean?

Ski phyics? Skis are vehicles, what you are saying is we should make people vehicles :o

There is 0, none, zilch, nada gravity in space in my map. You will float still if you don't do anything. If you jet you will go up (forever) or forwards if you crouch first.

Sadly this makes space travel within the map difficult. Hence we need a suitably fast vehicle to travel around since vehicles are not effected by the gravity.

Oops. Wrong spot.

I'm not making a vehicle for map. Got flamed last time I made a vehicle.

I started a competition to see who can make best space vehicle to be included in map. See the thread in mod discussion.
