lol why would they use that in unity

it's cool and stuff but i never imagined it being used outside of web browsers :/
it's really nice actually :o
no more richarding around with variable types - JS knows what the forget you're talking about
also the way it's structured looks nice

You didn't read the Tumblr and that black character is a stalker.
I did, but it was like a week or two ago. I was sent the link by one of my friends. Moreover, the fact that the stalker obstructs the path of light but isn't lit up itself looks very wierd.

so is/does lua and python lol

though lua lacks assignment operators (+=, -=, ++, etc.)

though there's a library you can use to get them :D

So that instead of writing x++ or x += 1, you have to write x = x + 1?

though i've gotten used to it.

It's really only synctactic sugar, so it shouldn't matter.

It's a stylistic choice and I think it looks great.

I would much prefer them not casting shadows at all, or having some textures applied to them. Just the ability to have some parts more shaded than others would look better, in my opinion. But then again, I'm not the 3D modeler/texturer, and I don't write the shaders.

Add a brighter colored uniforms for the Husks to help distinguish a bit in the dark
While the Stalker may have telltale spikes, being able to see a red shirt a bit in the dark might help you know a husk is with you.
It could add to both sides, you can see a stalker vs a husk, and a stalker can see a husk easily.
As of right now it seems Stalkers are at a small disadvantage, but thats just me.

You guys are weird. Shadeless black character and an undefined matte white character is beautiful.

this would be fair if there are less stalkers than husks.

I'm sure something will be done about it considering they're supposed to be hurt by light anyways.

I'm not saying it's not beautiful, I'm saying that it looks a bit unnatural.
