So a person can't connect to his own server given by Pacnet, and Pacnet can't get a web server running...

he can't operate his router properly.
People can connect to their servers.

nope, i have no idea how the forget ssh -R works

nevermind me

YES, I PORTFORWARDED AND UNBLOCKED THE PORT.

I got a server from Pacnet2012 recently. The port is 50300 and he doesn't port forward, he uses UPnP. Now my router doesn't support UPnP, keep that in mind. For some reason, I can't join the server when I start Blockland.

HOWEVER, I get ping and I can connect like 15 minutes after. Still this is extremely annoying. Please help! And don't give me jackstuff about "Oh, Pacnet's hosting service sucks ass!"
Problem on his end.

10 Torque ping packets sent, 0 received.

Saxaphone isn't my client anymore, he already had fixed it, and it was his problem.

Which explains exactly why I couldn't connect to the server either.

Do you have short term memory loss?

Lets face it, trying to run a hosting service from a residential line with a dynamic IP, behind a router you don't have control of, hosted on a server with RAM funded by swimming laps, is an absolute joke.

Lets also face that bragging about how amazing your service is going to be, with no evidence of any progress, is also an absolute joke!

i don't get how people are saying they'll take your service over kal's because of his personality/attitude when you seem to be the hugest douche ever

Yeah never, possibly one of the greatest moments in BL history. Tears of joy come to my eye when I think of it :')

Thanks for your concern, noted.

Actually, I was right. You can bypass NAT with ssh tunnels.

One way. No need to create another connection.

Only downside is it requires an external server with open ports.
Otherwise you need to have the client SSH into the external server.
