Author Topic: So i demanded a Refund...  (Read 2820 times)

I think the color glitches are from windows 7, not the game itself. Try running it without explorer.exe running in the background or alt-tab out of the game while it's running and tell me what happens.
the same thing happened. the color issue. and no one bother saying "Set mode to 4" because i would like to see what the forgets going on in the cinematics; nor does that fix un-moddability, un-patchable game files and such.

I purchased Fallout 2 during the sale and also had the color issues.

But if you're not loving handicapped you would have googled how to fix it, like i did.
Read the times i said all the fixes and patches were in-compatible with current versions of windows and the steam files.

Steam doesn't refund and their staff can't be blamed for that.
I did read you said you'd do it when you had time but with all the complaining about errors and theI'd honestly think you were sending a message that you didn't want to do it.
the obviously the staff (which includes everyone who works with it including the creator/owner) never chose that refunds wouldnt happen. and honestly i dont feel like taking all the time to read the licensing agreement just so i can loving log in and talk to my friends and play my games.

Don't blame Valve for your laziness. They don't allow refunds because that would allow people to play the game, then get a refund. It's illogical.

Then stop using Windows 8.

I said they could remove the game from my library and put the money i paid for the game into my steam wallet.

Since when did i say i was using Windows 8? Explain where you got this knowledge. Because windows 8 will be open to public October 26.

Are all of you posting on this thread without reading all of the OP? you all seem to be assuming i mean't this or i said this and posting responses that shove words into my mouth when i never said them. Refer to the above quote.

That's called a refund, smart guy

I said they could remove the game from my library and put the money i paid for the game into my steam wallet.

And I'm saying they're not going to do that because that's what's known as a "refund" and it's clearly stated in the Subscriber Agreement that you cannot receive one for any Steam purchases. What part of this aren't you getting?

Refer to what i said before. "If the staff does not allow refunds for  clearly broken version of the game, then i dont know what type of staff they are."

That's called a refund, smart guy
Yes.  so of course the entire idea of Refund should not exist at all according to his logic. if the game is broken then yes, refunds should be allowed. I cant beat the game because its filled with bugs.

Read the times i said all the fixes and patches were in-compatible with current versions of windows and the steam files.
Thats not true at all

Thats not true at all
then share your fixes and be the only helpful person in the thread. If the fixes i find on NMA like the HD patch, the restoration patch and the official patch by interplay then tell me what fixes you possibly had that worked with steam on 64 bit windows 7.

The kind of staff that sticks to what's outlined in their Subscriber Agreement and doesn't alter it just because you want them to. It's only a "broken game" because you refuse to look up how to fix it. I posted three of the multitudes of fixes available for the game that took me less than a minute to find. Games not working because of hardware and software problems for certain users requiring additional attention besides simply downloading the game is not a new concept, and if it's not something you want to deal with maybe gaming is not for you. I can guarantee the problem you are having is not a result of the game itself, but of a conflict with the hardware and/or software on your computer.

Fallout 1 & 2 are funky when played on Windows 7, sometimes it works without graphical issues, sometimes it doesn't. But instead of whining you could try to resolve the issues instead of wanting your measly 10 or 15 dollars (or whatever you spent) back.

God this guy is so stupid. He still does not understand that he signed an agreement that states he can never get a refund, no matter what
