The Steel Legion retaliates with long-ranged Railgun bombardments, tearing through armor like a bullet through a balloon. Missiles are fired from artillery platforms, and STEEL RAINs, flying at 20000 feet above, begin dropping napalm and thermite bombs, as well as conventional "explode stuff" bombs. Tanks and LRW-990s also shell the enemy, explosions resounding all the way inside of Lyos.

The casualty count is now at 900,000 civilians, 1,500,000 soldiers, and over 2,300,000 vehicles and mechs have been destroyed.

I'm beginning to detect a pattern here.

A attacks B
B gets C through K
B through K invade A
A doesn't accept defeat
B through K eventually win

Glad I'm P in all of this.

SAM's, having the same advanced targeting systems as the MRGS, begin shooting down STEEL RAINs, bringing them down with ease, while artillery platforms, machine gunners, and infantry begin firing at the LRW-990's and tanks, some of them being armed with the P36 rifle.

Meanwhile, the spec ops team continues to move up, undetected.

monday we got like 500,000 men holding the walls down good luck with that.

Anyways yeah more XK-84 Strykers are going to go and kamekaze and stuff.

Also the Kintharian president requests that you guys TRY NOT TO KILL CIVILIANS

Stap referring to the olvilitre you silly goose you.

The spec ops team finally reaches the wall of Lyos, seemingly undetected.  At this point they have ordered radio silence and strictly hand signals.  The Colonel motions something to one of his team, and the team member moves up, removing the pack from his back and opening it up.  He takes out several explosive charges, setting them on the walls, and he motions for everyone to get the forget back.  And they do so.

A blast door opens in Lyos.

I got mechs with railguns that can crack mountains and have advanced targeting systems and stuff
railguns that need to take a lonnnnggg time to recharge

The vipers blow through mechs like cutting cake and take minimal damage, thes are Antimech tanks you know.

The wall is suddenly torn open by the explosive charges, and the commander signals for them to move up, and they cover-peek, scanning for hostiles.  It is apparent they have not yet arrived at the scene, and they rush in, taking cover in the nearest building.

All military activity inside the city appears to have ceased, however from the walls outward, gunfire still sounds.

The team proceeds to the nearest substation, and the Colonel give the signal to the one labeled, "Sparkplug".  He takes the device off of his back, and hooks the two cables emitting from it to the substation generator.  He presses a few buttons on the device and counts down from three with his fingers.  As he closes his hand, the generator sparks up, but then goes offline, as well as power in their half of the city.  The NMSSDA operatives reach for the scopes on their GSR-3's, flicking switches and a humming noise emits from their guns.  They all check their guns, before proceeding.

The Iron Legion requests that all of the forces converging on Lyos hold fire while we retrieve technology from our corporate headquarters and free the "Fallen Angels"

An artillery shell goes offer get and hits ner the substation and obliterates 3 Rovercian soldiers and 1 NM soldier
