New Manhattan is making the switch to using only AP and Incendiary rounds, as well as thermobaric warheads where possible. Unless, of course, it's for riot control. Then it's smoke and tear gas warheads.

A Teleri dam almost burst this year due to heavy rainfalls in the Western Province. Telar's incredible epicness saved it from disaster and the dam was fixed.
Telar's mechs get an upgrade. They can be hooked up to a large jet pack and fly short distances now. They now also have a grenade launcher minigun that can be held instead of the microwave or laser gun that most mechs currently use.
Telar buffs up its internal defenses.
