Sentry Busters make me laugh hard.
Sentry Busterss make me hard in general.
They were obviously designed with famous robotic robot thingies combined. I still think its a Gecko from MGS4 with an underwater mine bomb as a body

What's with all the illiterate forgets that can't see the big "F4 = TOGGLE READY" at the top? I've votekicked at least 10 of these people since MvM came out.

people like squideey dont have f4 mapped to ready :C

hey no2

any spuf results on increased maxplayers

Through research I have learned that TF2 has a hard coded server limit of 32 maximum player slots. Though you can modify this through a hex editor, it becomes wildly unstable. I'm attempting to figure out how to allow a 7th person in at the cost of slightly less bots.

but sir! my GUI glitched and i cant even see the progress bar for the wave!

still, it should be pretty obvious when everyone else is screaming "PRESS F4 GODDAMNIT" in chat

Hosting MvM server, nullable.se:27016, password is badspot.

Success for now. I created a custom population file with reduced bot count, and experimented with bots. I'm pretty sure bots count as players so, I assume this would work with seven people.

Picture

There parameters were in place before the server started:

mp_allowspectators 0
mp_team_unbalance_limit 0
tf_bot_difficulty 3 (Does not affect MvM bots)
maxplayers 32
sv_visiblemaxplayers 8 (Not really necessary)
sv_lan 1 (So no one would join my server)
mp_autoteambalance 0

After the server began, I typed: tf_bot_add red 7 which added seven bots to red. Although you could only see six on the scoreboard, there will still enough. I played through the first wave, which we could not pass, and I didn't notice any problems. I'll double check with actual players later.

Also: The bots that are on RED, don't move towards the spawn point with robots. You will need to manually warp them there with tf_bot_warp_team_to_me.

what about tf_mvm_min_players or something like that

That is for changing the required number of players to start to wave. I dunno how effective that command is, because I can start the wave by myself.

also, i think its kinda confusing because all you really need is tf_bot_add
i'm sorry but im probably just being stupid

Woo.

In an auto exec type of file right?

I guess max Sandman ammo is okay for stunning but IIRC you can only mark one target at a time
Mark giant, stun the medics, milk all of them and shoot the medics.

Yeah. I just typed those into the console while at the main menu though.

First Connecting to a game took ages and now even disconnecting takes ages.
help.

I'm an enemy engineer named Giant Pyro. They'll never get me!
