The default minigun has a large dps count even if you include spin up time, there is almost NO reason to use it.

honestly, it turned terribly useless when they nerfed it even further to -10% spinup.

That was pretty stupid. The driver's compartment to that mech was completely open. One single sniper round could have just dropped the engineer. Even before he activated his machines, as well.

Perhaps your Alt key is stuck pressed down or it has a short and thinks it's being held down?
