------:KHORDE'S ULTIMATE GUIDE TO TF2 PSYCHOLOGY:------
Through playing TF2 I have found out many things in the way of how certain players act and what norms these players have fit into.
I've also learned some tips that made me a better player and in turn made it so I could enjoy the game more.
Tryhards tend to play on pub servers in order to rank up theirs strange weapons by killing people who are new to the game.
Typically, tryhards play only one class (scout, soldier and demo are the most common) and then get incredibly buttmad when dominated.
They will do anything in their power to kill you whence dominated. (even if that means forgetting map objectives and teammates in order to seek you out.)
HOW TO SPOT A TRYHARD:

wep: degreaser, flaregun, axtinguisher

vanity: quadwrangler

HOW TO SPOT A POORcigarette:
They will have one of these vanity items equipped:
Mercenary
Gibus
Pyrovision goggles
Full head of Steam
Professor speks
frontline recorder
proof of purchase
aperture labs hat
ellis cap
mann co cap
alien swarm parasite
world traveler's hat
spiral sallet
party hat
bolt action blazer
companion cube pin
deus specs
mvm medals
or any uncraftable unwearable halloween item.
HOW TO SPOT SOMEONE WHO THINKS THEY'RE RICH, BUT AREN'T
They will have several items painted different colors on the same character.
Often times this includes someone with an orange misc and a purple hat. You look stupid.
They have no other hats except 1 hat that is semi-expensive. An example includes some guy who wears a merc badge and a bill's hat only.
They spend their entire wealth on an unusual that looks really ugly. Heavy and Engineer unusuals are the easiest to get.
They wear semi-expensive all-class items on all their classes. MERC'S MUFFLER AND DEUS SPECS ARE THE MOST COMMON.
TRADING:
Don't ever submit to a trade you don't fully feel alright about. If you want to do the trade, then do it.
TF2 Outpost should only be used if you want 70-85% of the value of your item
Don't open regular keys. Ever. Let someone else open that box. Save money for naughty keys and keys around halloween time. Those are the profitable times.
TF2WH is actually pretty cool. Much like TF2 Outpost, you don't get the full value for your item, but the trades are expedient and usually have what you want.
If you're looking to profit, don't go to trade servers. Profit lies in the naive (sadly). Never seek out people to shark, bad karma.
GENERAL ADVICE:
Don't sell all your items for 1 item, i.e. an unusual. One stuffty hat with a semi-ok effect is never as good as having all the versatility and unique character ever.
Having trouble surviving? Play medic. Need points? Play engineer.
Arena carves your skill. It teaches you survivability and how each hit counts.
It's harder to hit a moving target than one standing still. Jumping helps.
Don't practice with bots. They do not teach good habits. Practice with a friend.
Don't be a sperg on the mic. Nobody likes someone who gives them a play-by-play of their experience.
Don't brag. Nobody gives nine forgets that you just traded your winger for a ref. Good for you forgetass.
When you run out of ammo in your clip, and the enemy is weak, swap to melee to finish the job.
All guns do more damage the closer you are to your target, except snipers and the crusader's crossbow (xbow hits harder the farther you are.)
Play the game to have fun. Sitting in trade servers for 5 hours to get a hat is dumb.
