I just use the stock weapons. Iunno, most unlocks are situational/terrible for most of what I play.

Standard shotgun surpasses most secondaries bar specific occassions - buff banner for MvM, for example. Standard rocket launcher is the most versatile and well-rounded, so on and so forth.

I can't decide on a melee for Soldier because

most unlocks are situational/terrible for most of what I play.

I use stock besides the market gardener and actually utilizing it would put me at a disadvantage half the time due to the hp taken from rocket jumping.

That's because I'm mostly far from enemies and helping defend Engineer buildings ( possibly destroying enemy buildings as well)
