I need a misc to go with my festive engineer loadout.
Anything that looks fitting for winter. I was thinking either the Dogfighter or the Endothermic Exowear.
It's replacing the Macho Mann by the way

It's also strangifi-able as a bonus.

For the first time (that I can recall anyways) I managed to nail 4 Scattergun shots at point blank against 3 different enemies and killed them all(one was a DR spy who fake died and then died for real from the second shot) and they all registered! I have no idea why the Scattergun is near impossible to have register consistently at point blank.

I thought I was just imagining it.

No, TF2's hit detection with hitscan weapons is awful (it doesn't bother me if I get the kill but if it's the reason I die then it annoys me.) The only things that can reliably do damage are projectile based ones. Hell, even melee, fire, Jarate, and Mad Milk aren't reliable, I've had Jarate land on someone's head and it not count, it's rare, but it happens. I hope the new source engine has better hit detection, that is the top of the list on my wish list of things for Source 2 to have.

i wish they add joke killstreak weapons like a unique counter for the holiday punch or killstreak bonk/sandvich.

Prof. dalokohs bars would be the cheapest thing ever.

It's lovey as hell. Definitely the best looking engie coat.

Will do that then, thanks.

it still boggles my mind how such a popular and profitable game can be so terribly designed

I don't really understand what you are talking about
When I shoot someone in the face at pointblank, the bullets dont go everywhere but the head
May you please care to elaborate?

basically it means sometimes you shoot someone in the face at pointblank and they don't get hit period

This, and sparks will fly with the Scattergun like I did hit said person and sometimes blood will even appear on that person but they will remain unharmed (I especially love getting headshots and blood appears on the person's head but they don't die an instead kill me.).

It's not just me, it's happened to everyone, there's honestly no possible way you haven't experienced it, you just must not have noticed it.
