i'm pissed because i can't trade. steam has this stuffty rule that you have to buy a game yearly from the steam store to be able to trade.
Are you sure you are not sending the money to russian hackers.

what do you mean "wut" mate
I've not known about this rule in which you have to buy one Steam game a year to be able to trade

Why is this? When did this happen? Who thought this was a good idea? Am i also exiled from trading because i lack the $$$ to buy games???

afaik its not just games it can be any purchase including the market and adding steam funds.

i'm p sure it has to do with the actual steam store, because i've been buying keys for csgo and it still does this to me.

Pretty sure all you need to be able to trade is invest 5 dollars just once. Are you sure that rule really is a thing?

You will need to spend at least $5.00 USD within the Steam store.

Some examples of purchases that grant access to these features are:

  • Adding the equivalent of $5 USD or more to your Steam Wallet]/li]
    • Purchasing game(s) that are equal to $5 USD or more from the Steam store
    • Adding a Steam Wallet card that is equal to $5 USD or more to your Steam account
    • Purchasing a Steam gift that is equal to $5 USD or more from the Steam store (Receiving a Steam gift from a friend doesn't count)

Each Steam purchase total will be tracked in USD. If your Steam store's currency isn't in USD, it will be tracked and converted to USD automatically using daily exchange rates.

I don't see anything that asks for another five dollars after the year ends in there.

Are you sure the issue isn't lack of mobile authientication?

None of that says anything about each year. That is only for newly created steam accounts with no friends or games.

They got beat to death with their own skulls

after several hours of playing with it yesterday I've come to the conclusion that the changes to the casual matchmaking system were poorly done

the map selection seems completely random and even includes unconventional ones like pass time (one of which used the thumbnail for watergate for some reason), plus nobody ever actually sticks around so if you do decide to stay connected you end up with about 6-8 people total when the map changes and the empty spots are never filled

Man, what happened to Valve? TF2 updates used to be much less underwhelming and not as broken as often as they are now

tf2 matchmaking has been a mistake since mvm
