Goonsquad are a bunch of "good PVPers" who use hacks and fly mod to win. We have several screenies of them fly modding. They were banned for hacking.
no one is stopping sev from joining. sev wants a shop at spawn just so he can buy tnt without actually having to do any of the creeper killing.
I'm pretty sure Butler runs nocheat, which pretty much disables flyhacks. I could get TNT without the creeper killing by just making a mob farm, but I know a better way. Plus, an economy gives everyone access to mass amounts of materials like cobble. It just makes sense.
If you want a lot of cobble, make a quarry.
Trust me, being able to liquidate materials like diamonds and farming product into cash makes the game a lot more interesting.More big bases and easier access to starter materials like cobblestone and obsidian.

Then find a pvp server with economy. I think it's been made clear that not everybody wants an economy on the server :p
