Republicans raise taxes on the middle class because they are too lazy to pay taxes themselves.

What a freaking joke. Guess who doesn't pay taxes? The poorest Americans, and the Mega rich (Well they pay less in taxes). Democrats support the megarich that support them, and the poorest Americans.

They like taxing the rich and upper middle class. They like taxing people with about 100,000$ to $250,000
dollars of income. They also like taxing people for capital gains. Isn't that why one of facebooks investors left to Singapore? So he wouldn't have to pay capital gains taxes on the stock he sold worth billions of dollars? Nice incentives there for billionares to stay in the U.S.!

I love the current tax rates in America.
Nearly 50% of Americans don't pay taxes. Guess what happens when that number is a majority? If you can't, I'll tell you. They will jack up the taxes for everyone else. -not rocket science.

"The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money"

I feel the only government I can trust is one that consists of me and me only

It's obvious you have no idea what nuclear waste is.
I know more about nuclear theory than anyone else I've ever met.

Nuclear power plants generate two different types of waste: high level and low level. Low level waste is byproducts of nuclear power generation that isn't very radioactive and usually decays very quickly so it isn't much of a concern. I guess it's possible that some of this is just "thrown on the ground".
I never said it didn't. I wasn't referencing it because, as you said, it isn't much of a concern.

The real concern is spent fuel, in the form of metal rods/pellets (not the green sludge that it is often portrayed as). It is very radioactive and takes millions of years to decay.
I don't know if you're explaining this for me or for the general public, but if it's directed at me save your breath next time. I'm aware.

However, nuclear power generation is extremely efficient and only produces a small amount of waste. The whole nuclear power industry generates about 2,000 - 2,300 metric tons each year. Even if it seems like a lot, it's nothing compared to the 243 million tons (220 million metric tons) of trash the United Sates produces each year. It's not even close to what a coal power plant produces.
Yes. Where's your argument?

Even though nuclear power generation produces very little waste, the waste it does produce could be very harmful if it contaminated the drinking water supply. High level waste is defiantly not just thrown on the ground.
I didn't say it's thrown on the ground. Click the links people post. It is put in barrels, the barrels are encased in cement, and it is buried in the ground. The radiation does not leak through the thick casing of cement.

In the United States most waste is not buried yet and there are currently no plans for a disposal site. Yucca Mountain was proposed but it was scrapped recently. So right now it is just stored in temporay above-ground pods and yes it is also stored in giant pools:

See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_power_in_the_United_States#Waste_disposal

That being said, nuclear power production is really the best option, but to say that waste disposal is not much of an issue is pretty stupid.
Yucca Mountain is kind of irrelevant. In other countries, it is buried, and America can and should do the same. There's been concerns about leaks in the recent past.

Also, when you said it's stored in pools, I thought you literally meant big tanks of radioactive materials. Yeah, those pools make sense.

"Mostly because I work with children..."

Hey, with all this government spending we have going on, why don't we just take all this "poorly managed" nuclear waste and send it into space!

Most of the people in the upper middle classes are small Business owners.

Most smalll businesse owneres are already payin 30% in taxes. If some one who wants to start a small business notices that the taxes are increased (Or notices how hight they already are), they are going to be like "Do I really want to risk my families future to invest in this small business, with absurd tax rates?". The early part of a business start up, at least in many cases, is to save up capitol for what ever problems that are going to arise. It also takes a long time for a business to get started, where it can support its self (Again, in most cases). Small business also have to pay for loans for their building, supplies, cost to buy the business its self, etc. Its already hard enough with out the taxes screwing them over. 30% (state and federal taxes) is just absurd. Whats more abusurd is that people want to take the tax rate to 50%. Small business start ups, expansions, etc. are just being squeezed to death from regulations, taxes, and their own costs to upkeep. So yeah, the taxes should be lowered but you have the wrong idea for what reason.

1. Its cheaper to dispose of it (well obviously it doesn't get destroyed) then to send it into space. What you posted remind of me of Patrick Star saying "Why don't we take Bikini Bottum, and move it!" -something like that anyways. \R.I.P good cartoons.

Last time I checked, America doesn't have rainforests.
Not a tropical rainforest, but there's one in Washington state, I believe.

Lol, I'm for lowering taxes, I was just putting that out there fore the lols

The more and more I argue on the internet the more I realize that its utterly pointless.

You all are going to walk away thinking you "won" or something when really no one has changed their opinion.

What a freaking joke. Guess who doesn't pay taxes? The poorest Americans, and the Mega rich (Well they pay less in taxes). Democrats support the megarich that support them, and the poorest Americans.
Which explains why Obama repeatedly claims support for the middle-class and claims to support removing tax cuts for the mega-rich.
