The Moncalar are a relatively extinct race, with only 2 known colonies left in existence. Most of their population was wiped out in the Eldritch surges, and the ones left alive are only so due to their skill at shipbuilding. Their colonies are simply ships, a strategy developed out of trying to escape attack from Eldritch and Iconian ships. They do not excel at combat, and rarely use individual weapons, opting to use custom-built mechanical enhancements and walkers to deal with enemies. Although they did not originally believe in lethal combat, they were forced into changing, and their developments in energy weaponry and starships have ensured their survival. They are nonaggressors, fighting only when they have no other choice. Many races see them as a kind of galaxy police due to their unwavering justice and reason in dealing with space conflicts.

They are commonly employed to design and construct ships, and multiple empires and alien races compete for their contracts due to their skill. They do, however, ensure that any and all designs coming out of their workshops are lesser in power than what the Moncalar can build.

There are only 5 known kinds of Moncalar ships, disregarding their commissioned works. Each except the Scout carry starfighter drones used to harass enemies and damage specific areas of an enemy ship, allowing them to non-lethally disarm or incapitate enemy ships.

Frigate: Although low in numbers compared to other starfleets, their frigates are extremely powerful and should be considered as dangerous as a carrier. They normally travel in pairs, and equip 6 energy weapons, 2 armor slots, and 2 shields, and have around 19HP apiece. These are the most common, found normally escorting their freighters.

Scout: A lightly armored and armed ship, these have the benefit of being unmanned, and are used mainly as scouts (as their name implies) and escorts for shuttles. They carry 2 weapons and an armor slot, and have 5HP.

Carriers: A rare sight to behold, they have only been seen as escorts for their home ship as well as commissioned spaceships. They take no sides but their own during such escort missions; any and all ships seen attempting to attack their products will be immediately dispatched with, with priority given towards preserving their work and ensuring they recieve a full paycheck when the ship is delivered. They carry 6 energy weapons, 2 kinetic weapons, and 2 torcreep tubes, and have 2 armor slots and 3 shields. Each have 30HP, making these ships almost equal in lethality to destroyers.

Destroyers: These are quite literally the "tanks" of the galaxy, with none to match. Although slow, their extreme firepower and defensive ability (13 weapons + 4 torcreeps, 5 armor slots, 3 shield slots) make them feared by any race in the galaxy. They are only seen either protecting the Moncalar home ship, or off handling some diplomatic issues, usually alone. They  have 42HP, and are practically indestructable. Only 8 have ever been counted; it is not known if the Moncalar have any more at their disposal. Due to their size, however, they must be constructed at a large-scale starport, but none known are able to house a ship that large.

Home Ship (ADSTUTIA): Only two are known to exist. Even though they travel with a large convoy, they themselves are heavily armed, with 18 guns and 8 torcreep tubes scattered around the ship to protect it from all sides. They are armored with 10 armor slots and 5 shields, and have a total of 60HP. The only problem with such a large ship is that damage from combat takes a while to repair, effectively stopping the ship where it is at and leaving it vulnerable to long-range attacks.

When it comes to ground combat the Moncalar lack in skill and numbers. Thus, they are susceptible to boarding parties, as many crewmembers are normally unarmed or untrained in combat. The few that do equip standard infantary weapons use kinetic/bolt pistols.

Every Moncalar ship, however, has at least 3-4 walkers (destroyers/Adstutias 10-12), specialized suits that the Moncalar can drive in order to combat enemies. These make up the main core of boarding party defense, armed with gatling guns. If they all are disabled or destroyed, Moncalar captains usually set their ship to self destruct and order members to use shuttles to escape. In this way, some races call them "pussies," though not directly to their face, especially over ship comms.

Sichans are the residents of the war-stained planet Sicha. Sicha is probably one of the most impoverished planets to date. The nation was sent into distress and anarchy when the king of the monarchy died due to an eldritch invasion. They have no formal government; gangs and mobs run wildly in most cities. Most Sichans have left the planet to find more suitable places to live, while a minorities stays and tried to fix the mistakes of the government. These people are called the Sichan Redemption Alliance and are currently in control of law enforcement in  every part of Sicha.

Racially speaking, Sichans are a blue to purple skin color. Their most outlying trait is their ability to live in temperately unstable areas for prolonged periods of time. Because of this, nations have made it to become underwater and underground territories.

Sichans focus mainly on plasma-based weapons. Their melee weapons include energy swords as well. Because of the lack of common resources the SRA uses kinetic deflecting weaponry. Plasma proof weaponry is currently in production as well as a hybrid all-purpose armor.

Zesonians and Rh'Torans are on the way also.

The Moncalar remind me of Admiral Ackbar.

oh god so many races

throw one of the enemies' carcasses/swords inside the hole and see if anything happens, then proceed.

The dead body fits into the crack in the wall, but nothing happens.

Moving on, you enter the main chamber where you see Tom standing in the center, wearing his trademark helmet. Beside him are two pale cultists and in front of him are several others bunched together. It doesn't look like much of a fair fight, especially if all of those cultists are hiding guns.

: Captain Sebastian Mace. I knew you were coming.
: As did I. Now let's see that artifact of yours.
: Oh of course, you're here to take the artifact from me again, aren't you?
: It's either me or the iconians. You choose.
: Iconians?
: What, do you think these tremors are just the house settling? They're blasting this temple from orbit.
: The iconians are not a threat. We are safe here.
: Can we shoot this idiot and get going already?
: That would not be wise. I have more power than you may assume.
: That's doubtful.

Keep talking or attack?

OKAY

SO

I KNOW WHAT THE TWIST IS HERE

THE POWER IS THAT THE TEMPLE IS ACTUALLY A HUGE SHIP

RIGHT

RIGHT??

I thought you meant it wouldn't be a fair fight for them then I realized you meant we are outnumbered.

Keep talking. Ask how they expect to be safe in this place if the iconians are bombarding this place to smithereens.

Have squishy sneak around the pillars and get closer to the artifact if possible.

i have a bad feeling about the eldritch/mysterious ship now...

The aritifact obviously corrupts all. Jenn or squishy shoot the artifact before it creates more followers.
