From what they have told us this game is nothing more than a ripoff of blockland but taking out the fun of it

...serious..?

Octodad is actually a fine game in my opinion. Blockscape and Yogventures are bullstuff thou. Both games are just an "inspiration" (straight copy of Minecraft, at least on Blockscape's case) but with slightly different features!

If someone tells me "Minecraft is a copy of infiminer u dumbo mincaf fanbo"
please go kill yourself for if you do not understand that Infiminer was a really low profile game and Minecraft is what popularized the genre.

Iiii looveee yoouuuu

Blockland didnt make it, Steam picked 21 games. They even picked Yogventures which already has a good enough loving reputation. Sadly Blockland didn't make it.

Maybe next year.
I doubt it, from all of these games that were picked today, the majority of the games have good graphics, or a really good story line. I don't think Valve will be impressed with Blockland. Can Badspot just get Blockland on Steam like other companies do or is there a large fee to pay or certain regulations?

I'm disappointed that yogventures got in, That game doesn't look in any way unique or fun, The only reason it did is because they got their million+ fanbase to vote on it.

This game is a piece of stuff, and only the fanbase voted on it, which makes it even more stuff.

You notice on those games that were greenlit, it says "This game
was greenlit by the community." Valve does not choose the games.
