so it's a given that BL will be greenlit in a minimum of two rounds.

Unless everything below it is suddenly up-voted, yes.

Blockland is currently #44 on greenlight.

oh stuff

it was 79 like a week ago if i recall correctly

that's awesome

After blockland gets on steam, what's your next priority?

Hopefully some cache functions and networking fixes.

i dont understand the rank dealy.

we really dont have to reach #1 do we? just perhaps top 20 to be considered or something.

I think you have to be in the top 20 or whatever to get in. Steam says its because of the users the game gets in so I don't think the people in charge of steam get to say wiether or not they want a certin game in unless the game is breaking a law or something

Terrible if we have to wait, but awesome if we have to wait 'till December; it gets greenlight on or around Christmas.

A big sale start up would be awesome.

Hey.. What is someone takes the reddit post.. and reposts it?
Oh no I'm an awful human being please punish me.

Reposting things on reddit? Never.

I have a feeling a sale would be a perfect opportunity for banned forum trolls(or not banned) to buy even more new keys and vandalize the forums.

If we're in the top 100 I'm pretty sure we're considered, though better rank probably means much better chance to get picked.

It's likely a mixture of this and comparing it's growth in votes over time.

It could just be that say, top 20~ get in, but they probably take the rate of votes into consideration too.
If you have a game that is moving on up rapidly and is at #40 and it's been on Greenlight for two weeks, I'd imagine that would seem to be in more demand than something that has been on for 2 months and sat at #15.

Eitherway, I've no doubt that the games that do get chosen are those which have the most votes and seem to be the ones that will make Steam the most money. So, being higher ranked just proves you're that sort of game.
