I didn't think I'd like this game, but it's loving great.

On one playthrough I had accumulated a crew of six members--four humans and two rockmen. Though by the time we reached sector eight we had been reduced to two humans from giant spider attacks, boarding attackers, and planetary diseases. I ended up losing with only one beacon to go before I got to the rebel flagship. :(

I just played a game on easy mode where I had six crew members, an ion cannon, three anti-ship drones, level 4 shields, a hull laser, missiles, I just felt indestructible. And then I got to goddamn sector 8, beat the flagship once and then that bitch beat me the second time. What the actual forget the flagship is impossible to beat.

I watched Northernlion play it and it looks like a game where you have to keep track of 50 different things at once

I feel like the only person on the internet right now who doesn't like that idea

You don't have to be watching everything at once, you can freeze time to deal with multiple problems at once.

Kinda, but most of them come with cool add ons that make the ship better in some way.

And if you don't allow addons to be added to a ship it, it'll just be a giant mechanical asteroid.

Boarding attackers combined with missiles are the end of me

This is not an easy game by any means, but like binding of Isaac, it adds to the charm imo

my dad showed me this game yesterday and he seems to really like it. I might get it eventually but I'm not sure if I'll be very good at it.

Once you get through the tutorial, it's pretty easy.

this looks so fun and I want to play it but I have no money

This game is loving ridiculous. The last sector is 150% impossible even on "Easy" difficulty. The description for unlocking ships is so loving vague, and the difficulty explodes far too quickly.

Welcome to the world of roguelikes.

The only time you have to worry about anything besides attacking is when the enemy teleports on to your ship.

I like multi tasking, space ships and roguelikes!

did anybody else watch sjin play this? i'm gonna buy it if i learn my mac can run it.

My typical run:

Don't need shops? 70% OF THE SECTOR IS SHOPS

Need shops because you're at 2 hull? NO SHOPS IN THE SECTOR

fuuu game

this game is really fun

right now I'm using the engi ship you unlock after getting to the 5th sector or whatever.

all of my original crew died in a terrible mantis boarding attack mixed with solar flares. all I have left is Kirkner the mantis, now Captain Kirk, and Joel, the piano-man-slug-thing

things were going really good until it all went to stuff

oh forget that changes everything
