I told the officer we was there

If you still haven't figured out English after you've been speaking it for about twelve years you need to go to jail. Benefit society a bit.

As promised, some snaps of earlier journies~

Reynella Quarry
About half-an-hour walk from my place is a giant, abandoned Quarry. There's machinery, buildings and even an intricate cave system. It's honestly incredible, and is the reason why I got into Urbex.
The girl in these photos is my partner, we do exploring together and it's great~

Adelaide Darkie
Just like most (well, all I suppose) first world cities, Adelaide has a system of drain pipes running under it. The biggest, and most popular is called the Adelaide Darkie. It is the first serious drain pipe I've explored, and spans for about three hours if you just follow the direct route without going through any side tunnels.

Murray Shanty Shack
Some friends and I were having a grand ol' time camping along the River Murray when we spotted a shack in the distance. We decided to ball up and go investigate. What we found was pretty eery- an abandoned shack. We didn't stay for long, but we had a good look around.

Christ's Twin Tubes
Last year, my ex and I decided we'd brave a local drain pipe. Was pretty creepy, but cool and I got a couple nice shots.

Silverton Homestead Ruins
There's a town in Australia that's basically in the middle of nowhere called Silverton. Throughout the town are a bunch of old, crumbled homestead ruins. This one in particular caught my fancy, because of the car.

Junction Mine
Also in the middle of nowhere, is a town called Broken Hill. It's basically an old mining town, yet all the mines are closed down now. One of them, Junction Mine, is a brisk walk from where I usually stay when I go there. The surrounding area is basically a series of quarries, poppets, cranes, shafts, tracks and a bunch of other cool ruins.

There's a whole bunch more, but I'll post it later to space it all out. Those, however, are from some of my biggest finds/expeditions. If you like these, I'll post more later on [:

Also, feel free to ask questions and stuff~

I don't know if colorado has any abandoned places.
I'll go check.

There are some, But not very close to me as expected. :/

There are abandoned places everywhere! And Urbex isn't just limited to an abandoned building, or underground tunnel. Even exploring back streets, or going to a place just because you're driven by sheer curiosity.

You just need to keep a keen eye, man. If there's a manhole, there's a tunnel. If there's a city, there are empty buildings.

Very nice pictures Kniaz! I especially like the ones of the old shack. Its amazing how everything is left behind like the owner just got up and left in a moments notice. I look forward to any future pictures from you!

I can see some uses with this prototype for Urban Explorers.
That would be awesome to take along. It would be great to have buildings mapped out.

I just got back today from exploring Centralia. Like was pretty amazing, especially the abandoned section of highway. I ended up taking about 150 pictures haha.

I've been to so six or seven abandoned mental hospitals in the past few years, they have a special meaning to me because if I had lived a mere sixty years ago, I would be in one. They're grotesquely beautiful things, a symbol of generations long gone and the horrors imposed by their people upon the "sick" for the sake of "treatment"

i'd like to grow a third arm/leg/eye/snake too !
In all seriousness I'd absolutely love to go as well.
Have you been there before?

There is a house me and my cousin like to explore and we learned a week ago we aren't the only ones who like it. They was in the barn (I Seen them through the door)

Today we almost ran into them in the house but they took off without us catching them...

stuff just got real because me and my cousin go there a lot.. And so do they.

Next time you guys go on your adventures, bring a video camera along and take video.

I'll try to borrow my dads.

Or I could carry my laptop everywhere.

Kniaz I loved the 'Adelaide Darkie' pictures.

Me, my cousin, and a couple other people went back to a house we commonly go to for the hell of it and we learned for sure we aren't the only people who go there.

When we got in (as usuall I'm the first in) I noticed the attic door was shut and I know we never close it, or any door for that matter.
I got a feeling sooner or later we'll be running into them if its starting to get so frequent as to find traces of them being in a place before we arrive.

Murray Shanty Shack looks awesome.
