Author Topic: why does everyone give a stuff about 9/11  (Read 2096 times)

Clearly the US we need to hardcore isolationist and only trade. So that way the armchair youtube haters can have something else to talk about. When stuff hits the fan and they beg for our help we will be like, "Nope, you called us big bad imperialiststs. Go fight your own war."

then they band up and conquer US

which isn't likely given the vast US army

We were given so many hints towards it but its a bit to late now. I suggest watching out for signs to predict the next disaster

Yeah, but you don't hear me making jokes about earthquakes and nuclear fallout and stuff.

FBI and CIA knew it 9/11 was going to happened to refused to cooperate.

I'm pretty sure more people starve to death every day.
Get over it.
The difference between starving and 9/11 deaths:
People value lives nearer to them, lives similar to theirs, a lot more. Simply because it could happen to them. Along with the invincibility that america felt, it struck a cord. It scared people. It's a sad world when people value lives over others (besides with family, friends, pets, etc.) but it's what happens. We can't change it. So comments like this aren't valid, I would say .5% of the population actually laughed at a Tsunami in Japan. If they did, it was out of ignorance, not of hate. America is simply more empathetic to America. We value ourselves over other countries. They do the same, though.

You just gave me a new reason to dis-like the government more.
Why would they actually let this happen? Seriously..

nobody mentions that there's quite a difference between talking about something and making fun of it?

Controversy meter 11/10

well, I wasn't alive for Chernobyl, and don't really know what happened, so that makes it a lot less important to me, especially considering I don't know how many people died or how they died. so I just don't really feel like it's important
I don't know it happened so that must mean it wasn't important HERP DERP.

when I cried over anything, except for Jesus. I loving bawled my face off and put it on backwards.
Wait what?
You cried for Jesus?
What's that even mean?

That isnt what he said, twisting his words to work in your favor is a pretty sad move. I assume you cant muster up any good arguments on your own?

"and I don't really know what happened, so that makes it a lot less important to me"
What the forget would you think that means then?

I think it's worth pointing out that the effects of war hadn't touched American soil since the Civil War, excluding that one brilliant Japanese bomb-on-balloon that touched down and hurt no one during the Big Two.

Regardless, I'm glad people haven't forgotten 9/11. They shouldn't. Remembering catastrophes like that reminds people of the consequences of their actions. History provides many lessons.

That its less important TO HIM, that is wayyyy different than saying it isnt important. Thats how most people work, I dont know why you are acting like hes an idiot for not feeling as much for Chernobyl as he does for 9/11. He wasnt around for it nor does he know all of the information on it so why would it matter as much to him? Chernobyl didnt affect his life.
