wtf is dont doing
more like wtf are you doing, you still didn't answer your question
Ok answer the question.
so what will it have that he doesn't then?

Both are compressed statically before being uploaded to the server (nothing on the fly). So server load is exactly the same, and they're exactly the same size on the server (actually, the gzip is about 120 bytes smaller, but that's not really significant), but I'm going to go out on a limb and claim that the gzip has a much better user experience.
Vs Kalphiter's which must be downloaded uncompressed from an FTP server in the window that the server is down directly after the session you want it from.

It will have everything he has, but it's too early to say what else I'll have.

I'm not talking about Kalphiter's service, just that Rub's isn't the "polished alternative" that he claims it to be.

The downloading of a pretty tiny file won't really make a difference.

Even Kalph is agreeing you're making a pathetic argument lol

dont worry, i bet it'll all come to you when lub adds new features to his  :cookieMonster:

Polished relative to some standard always defined as Lub + 1, or relative to the thing it's an alternative to?

Polished defined as "being somewhat intuitive and not getting basic stuff wrong".

Why are you having such a fit over using zip instead of gzip? Such a trivial thing lol.

Pretty sure zip files aren't gonna confuse anyone running a dedicated Blockland Server.

Nitpicking is all he's got left.

I really don't understand why he's freaking out over this. It's incredibly common to compress logs on a file system because they get large and numerous. What's your problem with us trying to save disk space? Please present a good argument to store potentially years of log data in an uncompressed format please.
