I'm glad you quoted this tails. As I said, I know they wanted to take it a different way and that's commendable.
But I don't like it because they changed everything that I enjoyed from the original game.
I don't like it and I stated why.

I'm sorry if my opinions upset you. Oh wait, no I'm not. They are my opinions.

well i'm sorry too but i'm not sure profanity ridden opinions are the way to go for a mario game ;-;

I think people expected too much when I first saw this game. From the screenshots when it was first demo'd, I saw a very basic version of Paper Mario, and I expected the game to be different than the previous games. I can now safely say that I was right.
Nossody, sorry if it wasn't what you expected it to be, but life's just a pain in the rear.

but life's just a pain in the rear.
I think it's more or less that the curve of Paper Mario games lately have been deviating, and that Nintendo is aiming for a more innovative style of gameplay. However, tails' laidback "So what?" against Mr. Nobody's "This is because." attitude makes this a back and forth arguement.

I knew they hadn't included several aspects from the 64/TTYD games, the only thing that I wasn't expecting was a paper-thin story
regardless, it is still a fun paper mario game

well i'm sorry too but i'm not sure profanity ridden opinions are the way to go for a mario game ;-;

Wait, so...since I've never played the others, why would I care what they change? :I
Is this game, on its own, worth buying?

In its essence, it is a Mario game with turn based combat, levels themed to the specific world, boss fights at the end of each world, no story line, sticker puzzles (Use specific sticker A to trigger event B), and is stylized to be paper themed.

If that sounds like a game you'd enjoy, then by all means.

it's also onions to mr nobody

May I please ask what prompted you to use the sponge sticker on the poison Blooper in world 3? I died to it five times before Curtsi gave me the hint: "You need to find a way to deflect the poison!" Are you serious that using a sponge to "deflect" poison felt in any way right to you?

yeah, okay, i forgot that one. but that's like, one puzzle that's hard to solve, doesn't make the entire game bad.

If you don't like my opinion, don't comment on it or just don't post. This is not a debate.

you know you are constantly breaking this rule with your constant huge rants right?

Yosher. How the forget do you debate an opinion shared by one person?
You can't say my opinion is wrong.

I don't like the game.

i'm at the last level now, i played a lot today
chomp ruins is the best designed level in the game, wish it were a little longer

that's one thing i really miss in this game: the cool traditional boss dungeons.

oh hey i beat the game

this was the only really challenging boss battle for me

>no storyline
>no experience system

the thousand year door is much better than this
i'm not going to call it bad but previous entries were better
