well atleast the sticker thing is
sort of original

The game is really good from what I hear, it's just not paper mario. They're trying new things, jesus christ, people, you always dump on nintendo for rehashing and when they make something new you all crap on it because you didn't expect it.

there's an equilibrium

you have to have enough new concepts and content to make it different from the last game but not too many that it doesn't feel like the same series anymore

the first two paper mario games achieved this perfectly

more like

paper mario: SUCKER star!!!!!

so far i'm enjoying it. the lack of an experience system, partners, and a few other things are definitely a bummer.
it feels more like a Paper Mario spin-off, but for $30 i'm having good fun. it's an improvement over Super Paper Mario (in terms of heading back to the RPG system), but no TTYD

like this comment if you think that maybe the next one won't even be paper

i hope you know that's a joke

Why is there a cat in the bottom left corner of the cover?
I have no idea, but dang that thing is disturbing...

What? Who complains about Nintendo rehashing except people that dislike Nintendo to begin with?
I just wish they would not re-use concepts that nobody generally liked to begin with. Id LOVE to see remakes of other styled Nintendo games.. not just Super Mario DS clones.

In addition: Oh god. I found that cat thing.
Its the "Cat-O-Luck" and looks creepy as forget.
Don't know what it does but if its on the front cover, it must be important..

Oh and also. "Original Game Work" cannot apply to a squeal that is supposed to be the next game in line of the genre..
At that point it may as well be its own game.

Well when a certain series of games were fantastic the way they were, and they TAKE AWAY what made it good in order to try to make it unique doesn't slide too well with fans. I've never hated Nintendo for their effort to make games unique, but whenever they try they almost always do it wrong.
This is a prime example of them doing it wrong.

I'm still looking forward to it, While the gameplay doesn't seem as good as the fantastic gamecube one it still seems fun and has the witty writing.  And i want a reason to play my 3ds, Not had one since kid icarus.
