What does the mini map do?

What does the mini map do?
Nothing yet. I have plans for it.

What about a farming system and a farmer's market?
WOAH.

No, no, no. Selling things to a brick is NOT ok, everything should be player related, players should be a key matter, not to just kill and steal, but to communicate and deal.

Special thanks to Khain for the tazer model.

I just realized I posted here,

Looking forward to finish.

Who ever said he was talking about using bricks? You could trade  crops, sell and even buy them from other players.

OT:Looking forward to it. Also you shouldn't have to event a brick to sell food. You should have to buy it from food producers or some stuff, stock the food and make sure nothing is spoiled. And if its a bakery or pizzeria, or anything that requires cooking, you should have to buy the ingredients, make the food then serve it to the customer. If food is on display it should be able to spoil as well.

How about a gun license is required to have a gun larger than a pistol?

I decided to gather up some ideas that you may or may not implement into this, it's all your choice.

  Food
  • Like I said before, you shouldn't have to event a brick to sell food. You should have to buy it from food producers or some stuff, stock the food and make sure nothing is spoiled. And if its a bakery or pizzeria, or anything that requires cooking, you should have to buy the ingredients, make the food then serve it to the customer. If food is on display it should be able to spoil as well. Now players should be able to store food inside there homes, such as a player goes to a market or store in town, buys food and saves it for later in there refrigerator if they chosen to do so, and it could spoil at anytime. From eating spoiled food, the player could get food poisoning or sick and should have to stay indoors as much as they can, or it would just get worst.
Housing
  • This is the thing I hate most. Players walking around, nothing to do but annoy people other then doing there job and trying to get money to buy a house and would have a place to be safe from all the criminals. Players should start in a crappy rundown apartment witch will be there new home, until they gather up the money to make there own home, or buy one from real estate. Now, no one likes to live in a crappy rundown apartment, so maybe that will push people to do there job and try to move out of the apartment into a new better home.
Death matching
  • This is the biggest problem in City RP's and RPG's. Criminals going around shooting people, stealing there money buying a better gun, then going on a huge killing spree with no hope of anyone stopping them, unless there was something like a licensed weapon. Now, you can own a gun legally and illegally, I know alot of people hate this idea and think it stupid but, if you didn't have weapon licenses and stuff, people would be doing what they do now. Going on a killing spree without no hope of anyone stopping them. Now weapon licenses should be in groups, one license for pistols, another license for magnums and so forth.

This is exactly the problem with City RPGs: useless jobs. Unless each of these jobs has something built-in to do, the Dynamic Paycheck isnt going to work.

I hate forced roleplay like hunger but ok.

dont worry no roleplaying here

Anyways, just a word ofadvice Jasa, if you don't want your server to be a highly modified TDM. If you do I think youll get more players anyways lol. The way I see it, ever since Blockland has had CityRPG it's pretty much always been a TDM and the 'RP' has been taken out of CityRPG making it a City TDM. I plan on implementing rules like 'No Metagaming' and 'No Powergaming' just to add to the roleplay aspect of the game. I'll add a report function and not halfass it too lol.

Totally use this if you want lol just an idea.

Deathmatching is a major problem I agree but without any killing there wouldn't be much of an RP. Killing is the most abundant crime and removing it or making it far less convenient will result in less criminals and less players in general. Every job involves criminals in some way (except laborer and civilian) and gun licenses won't be happening anytime soon.
This is a bad idea. Getting a $500 license for a $100 gun is stupid. Also, being forced to buy a license to buy a gun doesn't make any sense. There's nothing stopping criminal from picking up a gun from a dead player or spawning one themselves, and there shouldn't be a "magical force" that stops them from firing a weapon or picking one up.
Though having licenses sorted by classes rather than single-weapons is the best idea relating to licenses.

A lot of people connect to a CityRP to simply DM and nothing else. You buy a $300 gun and get like $100 back from the people you've killed, and it ends up pissing them off even if they didn't loose anything. The problem is making the server appeal to DM'ers and RP'ers alike. Most of the weapons are stuff on the server which helps and the cops outnumber the criminals 3 to 1. The problem before was that 9 times out of 10 cops would line up one by one into the criminal's bullets attempting to get a hit or two with the baton before getting killed. Adding a tazer to the gameplay will allow the cops to close in on the criminal's location before he gets his bearings and go for the jail. Before the tazer cops would have to buy their own weapons to take down a criminal (which none of them hardly did). Apparently buying a $200 gun for a $1,200 jail wasn't worth it.

I got an idea for drugs: you grow them as you would with the regular drug mod, but instead of selling them on a brick, you sell them by leaving the city. This can be done in one of three ways: by sea (seaport), air (airport), or ground (boarder crossing).

The challenge is getting your drugs to one of these "exits" without a cop stopping you for a "contraband search" (probably done by a cop clicking on you with some sort of item, such as a rubber glove). If they find you are carrying drugs, you get arrested for however long you would be for selling them on the old drug mod's brick.

If you make it to one of the exits, you either:
a. enter a teleporter brick or,
b. click a setplayertransform brick.

You then spawn outside of the city (call it whatever you want) where cops can't go, sell your drugs (to a black market) and go back with your score!

The following is optional, as it is much more complicated, and requires casinos:

When you get back to the city, the money you scored is now "dirty money." This is considered contraband because money used to buy drugs is often stolen or counterfeit. You cannot directly deposit this money into the bank in its current state. You need to "launder" this money by:
a. buying stuff (food, items, lots), or
b. gambling it in a casino (casino cash is always dirty).

Otherwise, great job so far!

i help with taser rofl omg

All drug mods are stuff. Why do you even CONSIDER making them??
