Author Topic: RTB Dedicated Hosting Service - Service Closing  (Read 361987 times)

I'm going to be taking the hosting site down for about 30 minutes of maintenance today to resize the disks and give the server some more memory. Hosted servers will remain up during this time, you just won't be able to manage them via the web interface during this 30 minute window.

Maintenance will take place at 09:00 UTC or about 50 minutes after this post was made.

The site's back. The upgrade was successful and the server's now running with 4 more virtual cpus and double memory.

So now servers are even less laggy?

No, the changes were made to the webserver - i.e. the thing that runs the web management panel. I had to increase the memory and CPU to cope with some upcoming changes.

Request: persistent console log

It would be useful if the console log that we see when we click "Console" showed everything that happened since starting the server
For me it shows like the last 10 minutes or similar so when I need to look in the console to see what went wrong while I was sleeping I need to turn off the server to pull the console.log over with ftp to have the full thing.

Sounds like a good one, definitely something I've wanted to see before. Let me have a think about that and I'll get back to you with some options.

How do I fix your updater replacing my brick textures with the ugly default ones that stufftify a build if it has moody environment?

Sorry I don't follow - the brick textures are used by the client so they shouldn't need to be changed at all on the server?

The client will use the brick textures that the server provides
Because the default ones look ugly in many situations, I replaced them with squideeys old
And every time I hit "update server" it replaces them with the default ones D:

Pressing update server does the same procedure as the launcher does when an update is applied, or when a base file is missing. It's nothing Ephi can do.

Create an alternative.
