What I don't like is they changed it to match Google's layout. Of course it makes sense they'd want to standardize it, but I honestly can't stand Google's layout. Visually, although more supported across browsers and simpler, I personally find it ugly. Aligning everything to the left makes no sense to me, forcing a larger continuous gap of white space while dragging the eye away from the focal point of the screen. Although what I find really appalling is the change of the front page. Whereas before loading up YouTube would allow the user to see all the subscriptions concisely, now the main page is always "What To Watch," which as with Suggestions have rarely been wanted by the user advertised to. They placed subscriptions on another page, with Uploads Only on yet another page. Yes, you can click three times, bookmark, etc. But wasn't the ease of having it on the front page the point...? Of course now they can just force the profitable videos up front so they can run the site. I get that, but it is still an inconvenience previously avoided.
