Entirely true. You will start seeing more of a merge between videos you've previously liked/favorited/added to a playlist, and videos you are currently watching.

For me if you go to a video directly from a channel then it lets you see other videos from that channel
anyway i'm waiting for this to get updated again

because one (or two) negative things does not ruin an otherwise excellent layout

I'd like to see what makes this so "excellent" because it just looks like its the old one but rearranged, recolored, and with the most useful feature removed.

What the forget happened to the "You" in "YouTube".

Now it's just "NewsTube".

Google takes suggestions from users about style and video changes. You can still upload videos, watch videos, and make money off of your videos via ads. Google hosts Youtubes on their own servers, pays their employees, and keeps regular updates for Youtube out of the companies money to host it for you. You shouldn't be complaining about how "youtube is taking out the YOU" when if they were taking out the "You", you sure as hell couldn't upload videos, much less make money off it.

I liked how my youtube homepage this morning was

>uploads only
by default
no extra clicking
i just immediately see whether or not one of my subs had a new video
and then i could click one of their videos and there was a neat little bar that showed a bunch more of their videos

now it's just a mess
I don't see any upsides whatsoever.

it's so much more pleasant to look at, and the way everything is arranged now is great

hard to explain, I just look at it and think to myself "mmm...that's nice"
