I doubt you're in 8th grade, I don't know what year I learned algebra but 46/2 isn't exactly hard math. That's a terrible judge of if he's in 8th grade.
No it wouldn't. If I got held back I'd drop out of school and start a business. It doesn't work like that.
What?
c/2-16=30, c=?
c/2=46
c/2*2=46*2
c=92
You don't take 46 and divide it by 2 lol.
But anyways, ADD/ADHD are not an excuse to not put in the effort. It seems as if you're only doing better to GET the money, and if you actually do get it, it just proves that you could have been getting better grades all along and disproves your excuse of ADD/ADHD making your grades bad. I hope your mother sees that.
Also, @Bisjac, I think it's great that you have a well paying job that you apparently don't have a problem with, but I don't quite agree with the "High school is worthless" argument. High school prepares students for college and goes more in depth in the subjects. I think that if someone dropped out of school in the 8th grade and just sat at home for 3-4 years without anything academic to do, they would forget a majority of the information and wouldn't be prepared when they go to college.
It all depends on the person though ofc.
