Elecro, if you're confused, ask your teacher. If you're not willing to go out of your way to improve your grades, they're not gonna go up.

ADHD + ADD

lol

there is no such thing. im sorry. but you fell for the lie, and you are using it as an excuse for sucking in life.

every personality disorder is labeled a "disease" because that is the magic word that makes pharmaceutical companies legally push drugs on you for it.

grow the forget up and have some self control.

well, that's how it's going to be when he grows up
There should be a DESIRE to learn. Sure, money is power, but more knowledge = more $$$ = more power.
He's skipping the learn part and just going straight to the money

Essentially this is how he ends up working in a cubicle for the rest of his life, earning that "sweet" $3,750 paycheck a month to pay for more computer parts that he really doesn't need.

Or he could just flunk school every year and then get offered the same amount of money from his mom and mooch off of her. Sounds like a plan to me.

Yeah, a scaling system would be superior, but you have to understand that it's not the beginning of the year anymore. It's implausible for him to get higher than a C. Even a C is pushing it, I don't know if he can do it.

Either you guys clearly have no idea how a school system works or you've just been brought up by terrible, abusive parents.
I gave an example of how I'm way better than him at school even though I do no homework, I didn't post my grades for no reason.
I thought the OP meant that LAST term he got bad grades so this term he'd try to improve them, not that his grades this year were going downhill and he needs to salvage them.

But thats the thing, in 8th grade you wouldnt be doing that. I know you like to try and keep up the whole "im super-rich and smart and better than you" routine but sometimes you just go so far with it I cant even take you seriously.
If I was in 8th grade and I got held back I would kill myself. Your point is still moot.

Also, having bad grades in school =/= low intellegence

No, you just happen to have both.

no, but when colleges see all Ds 7 years in a row from middle to high school, kiss your diploma goodbye.
and good luck landing a high level job of ANY credibility without said diploma.

A long while back I had some focus issues, but I've overcome them completely.

I'll admit that there isn't always a direct correlation between bad grades and not being smart but honestly you should get your act together. You can focus on games, can you not?

colleges don't care if your a genius, they care if you can work well

only the big 7, + state colleges give a forget about grades.

thats only about 57 out of 5000 colleges. the rest will take any GED student with a loan.
if i had really known, i would have dropped out of school after 8th grade, and just gone to college THEN. instead of wasting so much time.

According to some people I've heard that C's are Average B's are Above Average and A's are excelling.

D's are doing bad and F's are
you guessed it
Failing.

Also, whenever I do bad and pick my self up I don't get stuff.
Your parents must be rich or something, because I work my ass off doing homework and studying when there isn't even a test just to make sure I do as well as I loving can in school, and I don't get stuff for it? How come the only kids who get rewards for stuff are the kids who do bad then for a few months do good just to get a prize then go back down to their bad grades? This actually really pisses me off. ADHD is besides the point because I get distracted in class all the time, thinking about programming and how to solve my problems with it and building computers, then the teacher claps and says "Well, that's it for today." And yet I do fine in my classes, infact, I apparently excel at my classes. My average right now is a B+/A-.

This pisses me off and no excuses will ever make up for the stuff.

Lol I agree, ADD and ADHD are such bullstuff.

The only reason I think I legitimately have ADD is because I'm actually quite hyper and unable to focus on anything when I'm not on my medication.

People never get rewarded for doing the same as they always do. Ever. In any scenario. People get rewarded for massive improvement.
