but this story had a different outcome from the massacre 8,000 miles away in Newtown, Conn. Everyone survived.
EDIT: Oh I see what you mean. Yeah, by damage I was comparing it to the Newtown massacre. I meant deaths.

And they're not unrecorded.
Trust me, I'm a terrible bullstuffter.

And yet damages still sustained. Increase of gun ownership amongst Americans can reduce casualties ten fold as opposed to the gun law restrictions, which have in fact left many americans open to danger because criminals disregard the law. Whether it be China, Japan, or any place on earth, you should think twice before you think a restriction will stop a mad man.

So what do YOU think Japan is doing right?

Those kids will probably die of stess anyways, considering the fact that Chinese education and work conditions are horrendous, along with the stress of that childhood trauma. You said there was no damage done.

If anything, murder rates are more due to multiculturalism tensions than anything. US had a lower before mass immigration.

Very strict immigration codes

The fact that not all weapons are eliminated sort of defeats the purpose for a Utopia of everyone patting eachother on the back. Lets have a geography lesson. It's not because Japan's restrictive gun laws, its because of location. Japan is roughly 145,883 miles in size, which is almost the same size as the State Montana, there are a total of 128 or 125 million people in that nation, a lot of which are in crowded cities and slightly peppering the countrysides. To commit a crime there invites a quick capture and many witnesses if done within the cities. Which makes the place of a high risk for criminals or criminal organizations. Now lets take a look at the United States, it's 3,794,000 square miles. It has an unlimited number of locations to hide in, and stretches of unmonitored land as far as the eye can see. Commuting a crime in the states is a lot easier because of the room you have which makes gun restrictions barely amount to anything for criminals. If you know you have a better chance of staying unnoticed, then you are more likely to commit the crime. We also have poor immigration laws for some reason now.

It is really hard to get your hands on a gun in Japan. Handguns are absolutely banned except on on-duty police, they can’t even carry them when they’re off duty. You can’t buy rifles unless you owned one before 1971 when they passed the first law banning all rifles. You can have a shotgun or an air rifle but it is a very difficult and onerous process to get one, which is why Japan has one of the lowest gun ownership rates in the world. There are 6 guns privately held for every 1000 people. In the United States, there are 890 guns for every 1000 people. Gun violence is also extremely low. In 2008 in the U.S., there were 12,000 firearm related homicides. In all of Japan, there were 11. That’s fewer people than were killed just in the Aurora shooting. There were 587 Americans killed by accidental gun discharges. There were none killed in Japan.
Doubt it.
It's not because Japan's restrictive gun laws
I'm not even going to justify myself here - I'm just going to flat out say that I think you're wrong.

This is true.

Perhaps I should say that I acknowledge the fact that restrictions do a little to help. But as a majority it barely does. So that's where we disagree.

richard act of 1903 pretty much forced a militia.

I think we can leave it here, haha.
I actually love guns, and might even go shooting later. But stuff like this is ruining them for us.
In other news, some dude just got arrested in Indiana for threatening to kill everyone at a school. They confiscated, like, 100 grand worth of guns and gun equipment from his house.

Sounds like a crazyman. I'll be sure to keep my gun by my side so I can shoot back  :cookieMonster:

OH, EPHI!

Adam just had mental disabilities, he was confused and probably was suffering from depression due to his mother and father's divorce.

Democrats have already began to blame this incident on republicans

That's no excuse, not at all.

Nothing is an excuse to go out and kill 27 people, especially 6-7 year olds. Imagine those kids who can never experience growing up, the surviving children scarred for life because they had to witness their teachers and friends being shot up right in front of them, the emergency responders who had to go into a building seeing children dead and bleeding, and the parents who have to make funeral arrangements for their loving children. Most of them probably already bought Christmas presents for their children, but instead of seeing their kids faces light up on Christmas morning, they need to give away their presents. Merry loving Christmas to them.

Because of this loving scum of the earth, hundreds of others will now need psychiatric treatment for the stuff they witnessed.

I don't give a stuff what he was suffering from, shooting himself was too good of a punishment for him.

Am I a horrible person for laughing at this?
