Author Topic: Spiral Knights - Iron Guilds  (Read 145536 times)

Probs friday, 3:00 EST
3:00 PM EST = 12:00 PM PST, school is out for me at 12:35 PM PST tomorrow so...
you live in PST, keep in mind.

i'm getting all nervous about trying to start a guild when i hardly know how to play.
i mean i have literally read the stuff out of the wiki until all i'm doing is hitting the random page button.

but every weekend comes and goes and i still havent played spiral knights to really know what a FSC run is, or what the tactics of killing vanaduke are, or how to play LD successfully

starting a guild, being the guild leader and then attempting to command a bunch of players that are 200% more knowledgeable than you about the game you're ordering them around in sounds like it'll be incredibly frustrating/embarrassing, so augh

What tier are we doing?

dont worry fancy, if you wear your pants with a belt headfirst surely you will fall, but as long as someone else is with you forcibly camera then you will live to see another day

I don't really think it's worth it spending 50k crowns on a guild. If you plan on decorating it prepare to spend 11k for each 3 types of furnishing.

What tier are we doing?
Probably 2. My plan is to have a defender and the rest be couriers.
Courier set= Melee (hopefully stunning)+ Haze bomb

this. my guild requires every member to pay 2.5k every week to keep the guild hall up. i checked, and the guild upkeep fee is loving 85k crowns. this is because the guild is ridiculously big and full of unnecessary hallways and rooms and other stuff.

My Winter fest loadout is...
Weps: Shiver mist buster and war master rocket hammer
Armor: Volcanic Demo suit and Dragon scale helm

I can not defend the jelly

Tell me if I should change any thing.

Spiral Knights is like a steampunk setting with 4 Swords gameplay, and Monster Hunter's crafting system. Woah.

My friend and I are gonna be playing soon, I'm getting on now, Tier 2, add me (Dradge)

I decided to get a Brandish that I'll make into the anti Undead weapon and have a shadow Alchemer that i'll be upgrading.
Sound good?

Depends what do you want to specialize in?
Swords bombs guns?

Sword/Gun

and I decided to stick to my Kamarin and use a Shadow Alchemer.

I like the heavy sword idea, even if it isn't the *best* for highest DPS, I like the style.
And I like having a gun, but I might switch it out if there's something cooler/better.

Also:
I just logged on, ready to play Spiral Knights again after a long break, when my friend asked me what size I chose.

What's up with this? Can I still change my eyes and whatnot?

WHAT DO

just found out you need to pay 50k to recustomize things like that. fml

If you're in early just restart.

Tier 2, spent a lot of time on my character with friends, not gonna delete ;~;

whatever I'll just spend 50k on it later,

I'm gonna work up to a Grand Faust.

How should I go about making the Sealed Sword?
