So yeah, I got a 780 because i thought the 970 and 980s were coming out much later and i didnt think they would be this cheap, so now i kinda regret buying my 780

nvidia has an upgrade program if you registered your card.

they buy back cards from me everytime i wanna upgrade

Is this a good PSU?
Sais 3100 Watts :V
More then enough for my new GPU, CPU and some other stuff.
Also,
Can someone suggest me some good fine cheap RAM that is atleast 12GB

EDIT: this PSU seems better since apperently my new CPU only needs 95 Watt

Any motherboard suggestions too?

 Oooh,this case is pretty horny.

Would probably be better if you used pcpartpicker.com, just saying.

Also, the first "PSU" isn't a PSU, it's an amp

Around February, my PC started freezing, so I contacted the company I got my PC from and after a while sent me a PSU replacement (around april/may or something) which solved it until recently where it started freezing again, but my screen forgeted up when it happened and it displayed a set of stripes. So, I asked for an upgrade (£55 to upgrade it, £10 to ship the old one back) and after 5 days its freezing again. I sent another email to the company, but I'm really pissed off at this being a constant issue. Is it just a coincidence that my PC keeps freezing due to the PSU, or is something else causing it?

Specs:
AMD FX-8120 @ 3.1GHz
M5A78L-M
16GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600MHz
AMD R9 280X
Old PSU: CiT 750u gold PSU
Current PSU (upgrade):  750W FSP Silver Certified

Nothing is over/under clocked
you guys missed this post by a mile

read it.

EDIT: this PSU
That PSU uses a horribly outdated design, is awfully inefficient and most likely won't deliver its rated wattage. In other words, don't bother.
Here's a Rosewill for $50 /w rebates, should do you nicely: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/rosewill-power-supply-hive550
EDIT: This Antec is an even better choice: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-power-supply-tp550c
It has Seasonic internals and uses higher-quality components than the Rosewill and is only $5 more. You'll lose modularity of course, but IMO it's a good tradeoff.

My GPU only already needs 400 Watts
Plus my CPU needs another 95 Watts
Then all the other stuff
So I need a PSU of atleast 750 watts
To be sure

EDIT: What about this thing?

Nonstop USB poer - USB charging even when the PC is off
Oh sweet jezus yes!

Wrong, you'll never need a PSU of more than 550W realistically unless you're using multiple graphics cards, 600-650 is for peace of mind

You never know when you are about to upgrade again.

But
New GPU
and
new CPU
Is already a pretty heavy rig

That wattage listing is the recommended wattage for the power supply, not what the card actually will pull. A 550W unit is more than enough for your needs.

Well if you say so.
What about this one then?

EDIT: I think I am going for this one anyway.

I have an i5 4690k and an ATI HD 7870, I'm going to be upgrading to a GTX 980 when I get the money and I won't be upgrading my PSU, know what wattage my PSU is? 650W. I'm fairly certain that the maximum practical power draw of the GTX Titan, GTX 780Ti and R9 290 doesn't go much higher than 380W even with the cards running at a reasonable overclock.

Also, the listed TDP of a CPU is not the amount of power it draws, it's something to do with the amount of power it dissipates as heat.

Well if you say so.
What about this one then?

If you're going to be spending money in that range on a PSU then I'd go for a Corsair, I don't think I've ever heard someone complain about a Corsair PSU

Well if you say so.
What about this one then?
Why would you want a PSU that's $10 more than the Antec I suggested and can't even deliver its rated wattage?

I think we should consider what case he has/will be getting before suggesting a PSU, depending on its cooling solution and cable management options it might not be wise to suggest a non-modular PSU since he's going to be running an AMD CPU
