Is it bad that one of the brightest lights on one of my fans will blink once? One time it went off for about 2 seconds.

Are they just aesthetic LEDs?
Yeah, I guess it will be okay if it goes out.

All in ones. Yes I am talking about those. Go to this video and watch. An H100i against something like a Silver Arrow Extreme, the H100i wins. It may not be by much but it is a fact and I am correct. I have yet to find a push-pull video but I am sure it does benefit the radiator.

So this is just wrong then?

Doesn't it say "Lower is better"

Doesn't it say "Lower is better"

It's a 1.3 degree difference, it's a negligible difference. Though the price for something like the Silver Arrow is about $20 less, though the air coolers are somewhat louder. So like I said, choose whichever one you want there's no real advantage for either besides sound or price.

Hey guys I'm having an issue with a computer me and my friend just built. We're booting it up for the first time, and there's no signal coming from the VGA or DVI outputs on the motherboard. We know it's not the fault of the monitor. When I turn it on the motherboard is getting power, same with the CPU, PSU, and disk burner. We also have an ssd connected, but I cannot tell whether it's on or off

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Edit: we took the gpu completely out, now it works

Only time I've ever had that happen was on an old family computer, turned out that the port on the motherboard was busted or the motherboard was scratched somewhere

The reasoning behind doing that is that having the gpu in there disables the inboard graphics, and the gpu has no drivers so it won't send signal anyways. Thanks for the help though

That's weird, in the past I've been able to run my monitor off the card before I've installed drivers no problem

I know on the computer I had built previously, (also with a z77 mobo) I was having issues when the VGA was plugged through the card, but it worked when I used the mobo outputs with the card still in

What would the $700 build be able to run on max settings?

This is what I am saying. All I said was that the temperatures are better and I even stated that the price to performance is better on air coolers. I am not disagreeing with you on that, and yes choose whatever one you want depending on noise and how much you are willing to pay.

If you can go for the $800 one. The CPU and GPU on the $800 one is such an improvement over the $700. But for the $700 build you can expect performance similar to this video in games with similar graphic settings.

Decided to go with a different case.
