There any bottlenecking? My PC seems to running surprisingly slow.

The ram is at 665 mhz, that may be the culprit because that is insanely slow for ram

How would I fix that?

If possible, you could try to overclock it. But if not possible, then you'll have to buy some new ram to replace it with

How exactly does low clock speed on ram affect performance?

Also usually the minimum recommended ram clock speed people refer to isusually 1333 or 1600. Your current ram clock speed is less than half of 1333 which affects performance quite a bit

you know that both of the things you linked to basically say it doesn't really affect performance, right? maybe it is the memory after all but I think no matter what it is bloody jumper is gonna have to go into more detail about what, exactly, is slow, before anyone can figure it out

Oh woops. I do know the first link talks about depending on what you're doing, the ram speed will reflect on how it performs though

Get an SSD, it'll make all the difference in the world.

Just a heads up, that's 1665mhz, my memory shows up 1066mhz despite being 2066mhz for some reason.
Like Pentium said, get a SSD, it'll help out a lot.

Oh alright, I didn't realize that

When you're at work on a quiet company shutdown day when 3 pallets of computer stuff shows up

mfw all of that costs more than a modest car at around 20k.  That's only because there are Xeon based workstations in there that are 3400 a piece, 4 to be precise, and about 2-3 dozen HP Elitebooks ranging from 820 and 840 G3's to the ZBook 15 G3 which cost 2200 a piece.

Hm? How so?

Because it's way faster than a regular hard drive, and everything that's installed on it starts up way quicker. It also doesn't get "bogged down" like regular hard drives tend to do when it's used by many programs at once.

Sounds very cool! I'll definitely start saving for one, thank you. Do you have any recommendations, or one's you've had good experiences with?
